BIAFF stands for the British International Amateur Film Festival. It is organised by the IAC and attracts over 200 entries from around the world every year.
The gradings are briefly described as:-
One Star - needs more thought and skill.
Two Star - shows promise but requires greater discipline, care and attention.
Three Star - well made, technically competent, keeps our interest and/or entertains.
Four Star - exceptionally well-made, entertains, makes us care / learn / think.
Five Star - the best, outstanding movies.
IAC Diamond Award - World class.
